Existential Psychotherapy for Generalized Anxiety

NOTE: This group is no longer meeting due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Please visit our Groups & Classes page to see our other offerings. Thank you.

Existential Psychotherapy focuses on foundational concepts that we deploy in thinking about, perceiving, and acting in the world around us. These are concepts like ‘possibility’, ‘self’, ‘meaning’, ‘value’, and so forth.

We’ve never been more connected, but at the same time we find ourselves increasing isolated and feeling alienated from the world around us. We long for meaningful conversation and genuine connection with others, but actualizing this can often feel impossible. This group aims to facilitate meaningful connection and an authentic sense of community among participants. We'll focus on questions of purpose and meaning in life, of personal identity and sense of self, as well as the significance of isolation in the modern world.
