Resources for those experiencing a crisis

Please note that we do not provide crisis management, housing or legal services (e.g., evaluations for court or other judicial proceedings). If that is what you need, we can provide you with a referral.

If you or someone you know is unsafe:

For any other kind of mental health crisis:

  • We do not offer any walk-In clinic hours, on-call care, or after-hours crisis care. If you find you are having a psychiatric emergency, please contact UW Medicine Psychiatric Emergency Services at 206-744-3076.

  • If you are having any other kind of mental health crisis, please call the King County 24-hour confidential crisis hotline at: 866-4-CRISIS (866-427-4747).
